LINAX is a pioneer in concrete substrate and surface preparation, combining advanced engineering with decades of on-site experience.
Founded in 1977, the company began by developing and marketing road line removal machines. In the 1980s LINAX expanded into the concrete substrate and surface preparation sector and broadened its operations into building and civil engineering. In 1992 it introduced the large-scale urethane surface cutter (U-650), building a proven track record in stadium renovation projects. Since then, LINAX has continued to develop, manufacture, and sell specialized cutting tools, diamond tool lines, and other value-added products for global markets.
Since our founding in 1977, we have pursued labor savings and job site efficiency as a pioneer in substrate and surface-preparation equipment, delivering a wide range of products. With a field-first approach, we conduct ongoing research and technological development to meet the increasingly diverse needs of our clients.
We developed a comprehensive “LINAX Method” for surface preparation that is now widely used across industries. This method employs grinders, scarifiers, grooving machines, stripping machines, and urethane surface cutters.
While regulations on noise, vibration and dust are becoming stricter, we always think from our users’ perspective.
